Living and working in today’s busy lifestyle quite often means that we are left feeling stressed and worn out.  Sitting or standing for long hours at work or being less active than we would like takes it’s toll on the body causing all sorts of issues  such as poor posture and knotted muscles.  As the years roll by this can also affect our bodies as we start to notice aches and pains that weren’t there before.  The good news is that It doesn’t have to be like this!  Getting older doesn’t mean we have to become stiffer and less mobile and being busy doesn’t mean we have to feel stressed and frazzled and struggle through with sore muscles.

It is my mission to reach as many people as I can to teach them how Yoga & Meditation can help to turn back the clock and help you feel calmer, healthier and stronger into midlife and beyond so you can enjoy life to the fullest for as long as possible.

Taking care of our bodies and minds doesn’t have to be hard work.  Using gentle but highly effective Yoga can make a powerful and positive difference to your health and wellbeing.  My classes are all about finding the balance between strength and flexibility while allowing you to move at your own pace but still challenging you enough to make improvements to your fitness level.   Meditation is a part of all classes to help find peace and calmness when you might find it difficult to switch off or relax.

Whether you are fit and active or are already starting to notice some health challenges such as loss of flexibility, stiffness of the joints or back pain. These weekly classes and workshops are specifically designed to help you stay active, have more energy and feel calmer whatever size or shape you are, whatever experience you have or however inflexible you think you are!

The classes are perfect if you are looking for a safe supportive environment where you don’t feel  out of place or intimidated by super fit ultra flexible gymnastic  types (I’m certainly not one of them but hats off if you are) or sweaty fast and energetic Yoga flows.  No putting your leg behind your head, tying yourself in knots, sitting for hours in lotus position or doing handstands.

With the help of Yoga props and variations for every pose and clear instructions from an experienced and patient teacher you can work within the limits of however your body is feeling today.  No judgement of yourself or others just kindness and acceptance.  This is a safe place for you to listen to and work with the most important person in the room, yourself!
